July 17th-18th, Join Comet East at the Canadian Transportation Museum & Heritage
Village Museum in Kingsville, Ontario, Canada. Comet East invites you to spend the

Arrive by Ferry Boat from Sandusky Ohio, You must reserve your space on the Ferry Boat
by calling  519-724-2115 and book passage from Sandusky, OH to Leamington Ontario. The
ferry landing is next to the Seacliffe Inn. By using the ferry you bypass Detroit and save your
 cost of all tolls around Detroit. Estimated cost round trip is about $200. You will need your
vehicle license tag number when reserving your space on the ferry.

PLEASE RESERVE EARLY THE FERRY HAS A 10 CAR LIMIT PER CROSSING

There will be tours of the museum, and you can visit the 25 historic buildings on site. Tour
the wineries and other historic sites in
the area (we will guide you). All auto flea market vendors welcome at no extra
charge..
The club has arranged a block of rooms at the Seacliffe Inn, www.seacliffeinn.com for our
members. The inn is a 15 minute scenic drive from the show site. Single queen size rooms
are $129. Reservations can be made after March 1st. Be sure to tell them you are with
Comet East. Ask them about the array of activities in the area such as winery tours, golfing.
and boating. They will be glad to help you with reservations.

Pigeon Forge, Tenn  Aug 20th- 21th

We will meet as a gathering and enjoy a trip through the mountains. The hotel will be
the Valley View Lodge in Townsend, TN which is about 20 miles from Pigeon Forge
and located high in the scenic Smoky Mountains. They offer a variety of
accommodations from single rooms to two bedroom cabins. With our group discount,

18th annual  All Ford/Mercury Picnic and Car show
Sunday June 13, 2010
Location:Arapaho Park, 44th ave. and Indiana, Golden Colorado
time: 9am-3pm
cost: $15.00 which includes a t-shirt(artwork by me..usually 5-6 Fords and
1-2 Mercs), awards  and a GREAT TIME!!

I will have a separate area for the Mercs and the Comets(I usually manage to
get 11-15 Comets, Montegos, Capris, and about another 20 Mercs.

Saturday's schedule will include a caravan drive from the hotel in Townsend to
Gatlinburg, TN. This is a 22 mile excursion through some of the most scenic mountains of
Tennessee. Lots of shopping and site seeing.
